Old Business

Django Project redesign

Jannis reports its looking good. Hoping for a launch before Christmas, aiming for 18th Dec. Quite a discussion around the costs of the web fonts. It was decided instead to look for some free options.

DjangoCon 2015

Russell reports they are down to 3 venues. Still aiming to keep prices low, but thats a challenge. Aiming for CfP in January. No formal requests for DSF funds yet.

New Business

DjangoGirls Wrocław

Request of $300 USD approved by the board.

DjangoGirls Management request

Thinking of a large event in the US similar to the EU event. Wondering if they could use the DSF as a "holding vessel" for funds for this event. Likely larger funds than the average $300 USD for one event. Board approved this idea.

Grants committee

Some interest on the grants and fundraising committees. Andy to write blog post focusing on what the fellow has done in an effort to spur interest.

Django Carrots

Womens outreach event around Django. Request for sponsorship for an event that would be free of charge. Last event spent $1,500 USD in food. A limit of $300 USD approved by the board.

Transition

Thanks Adrian and Joseph. The board spoke briefly about administrative details in the transition.

Xero Invoice Limit

There is a limit of 5 invoices a month. Andy requested an upgrade to the standard plan ($30 a month) and an unlimited number of invoices. Approved by the board.
